Foot Switches
GENERAL INFORMATION
Spot welders use one of two standard foot switches: two-stage or three-stage.
- Two-stage – for welders without the retract function.
- Three-stage – for welders with the retract function.

We stock the two Linemaster Hercules switches below. Both are heavy cast-metal switches built for the shop floor.

Features (Both Switches)
- Rugged cast-metal enclosure. Its weight keeps the switch from sliding during use.
- Neoprene cover gasket, O-rings on the actuating shaft, and a separate ground screw.
- Extra-oversize (OX) shield fits oversized safety shoes and metatarsal guards. It has 3/4 in (19.1 mm) more opening height than the standard oversize (O) shield.
- Maintained-contact stages release with a light forward press of the toe on the latch. The latch sits under the full shield, so falling objects cannot easily release it.
- Rated up to 250 VAC. Works on low-voltage control circuits, such as 24 V.
- Driptight, dusttight, watertight and oiltight.
- Painted alert orange.
- One 3/4″-14 NPT threaded conduit entry.
- Three holes for rigid mounting to the floor or equipment.

Linemaster 575-DWHOXA – Three-Stage
For spot welders with retract. The first stage latches. The second and third stages are momentary.
